What?  Men's Knit Night??!!

After several years of talking about our cool male friends who knit, we've finally decided to give them a chance to "bond" over the merits of ssk vs skpsso.  We're inviting our guy friends to hang out on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00 starting April 8.  And just to help you guys get started, we'll offer a 20% discount on Thursday nights to the men who show up (and participate) during the month of April!!

We're pleased to announce our online shopping cart is open for business!  After many dedicated hours (thanks Dad!), the shopping cart can extend your experience 24/7.  We hope it will be convenient for those that live a "little further out"!  Of course, coming into the shop and touching, feeling, and sharing your knitting experience, strength and hope with us can't be replaced by a cold, hard computer, but when you know what you want....

The shopping cart will ALWAYS be a WIP (we all know what a Work In Progress is, right?), and inventory is updated daily rather than real-time, but yippee!!!  You can now shop at 2am in nothing but handknit socks!!!

FRIDAY KAL (Knit-A-Long):  Several of the Friday Knit ALong attendees have finished their Arwens (while some of us have yet to start ).  We're debating the next project (maybe the Wonderful Wallaby or a Habu design?).  Join us Fridays at 11am and give us your ideas for what we should do next.  And if you aren't working on the same project, don't worry--join us anyway for inspiration, help or even a little therapy!  We appreciate your use of yarn purchased at Y2E for our KAL's.

Y2E's HAITIAN RELIEF EFFORTS

Thanks to everyone who donated $$ for Haitian earthquake relief!  After almost $1200 in matching by Y2E (we increased our matching donation) we sent KFI a total of $4,000.  After the KFI match, a grand total of $8,000 went to Haiti.  Way to go, y'all!

EASTER SALE

The bunny is due for a visit!  This year, as a thank you to our faithful customers, we will be cracking eggs open for discounts all week!!  Starting Friday, April 2nd and ending Friday, April 9th (inclusive), ask to crack open an egg at the start of your shopping.  The discount percentage inside will be good on all yarn, clearance yarn (in addition to the clearance price) and books.  Malabrigo and Cascade 220 are excluded from the sale.  Only one egg per customer for this sale (i.e. for the entire 8 days).
